Question : Hello, I took high doses of antibiotics to treat pneumonia, which killed the beneficial bacteria in the intestine and after that I felt severe pain on the right side so I made an x-ray and stool analysis. The result of analysis was that I have Gastroduodenitis, Colitis, Dolichosigma. Based on the analysis, I was given these medications (lacto-g, bifidumbacterium, entenorm, creon 10000). I took Creon 10000 and Entenorm for a month and finished the dose last week. Currently, I still feel severe pain from time to time, especially after eating, and I feel bloating in addition to gases. So, what should I do, I will be grateful If you can help me? Can you tell me what is happening and why I still feel pain? Attached the medical tests (Tests are in Russian and I attached the English translation).

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Have seen your details and the reports attached.
The pain you are having right now is because of Gastroduodenitis which means severe inflammation of mucosa lining of stomach and duodenem.
None of the medicine you were taking was covering this and therefore severe pain is still there.
I would suggest you to take-
Rabeprazole 20 mg two times a day.
Domperidom 30 mg once a day for 10 days.
Activated charcoal tablets 3-4times daily.
Eat light and easily digestible food consisting mainly of complex carbohydrates like wheat oats etc.
Avoid Non veg and dairies for a while.
Follow up after 10 days.
Hope i was helpful.
Thanks!

Hi again,
-Pantoprazole 40 mg twice daily can be increased to 80 mg twice daily.
-Yes they are same mam.
-Before adding any thing else i for colitis i would like you to take these medicines for minimum 7-10days.
However please take any good probiotic like VSL#3 or Econorm along with the meds prescribed.
-These medications don't have any major side effect.
I need minimum 7-10 days before suggesting you any further testing or medicines.
Hope you get well soon.
Regards!

Thank you Doctor.
I can't find pantoprazole also. There are Pantap, nolpaza and rabeloc, can I take any of these medications?
Also, VSL#3 and econorm don't come to my country (Kyrgyzstan) so which probiotics can I take and for how many days?
Thank you very much.

Also, can I take Motilium or doprokin instead of domperdone, because unfortunately I don't find all the medications that you advised me to take. Thank you very much.
