Question : Hello, I was told by one of the doctors that I might have trigger thumb. Can this be diagnosed with a CT? Thank you, XXXXXXX

A trigger thumb is a clinical diagnosis which is made on the basis of history,symptoms and clinical examination.There is severe pain and inflammation of flexor tendons.

An x ray or CT scan can't pick the changes.
A High resolution MRI can.You can go for it.
