Question: Hello,
I was under PCOS treatment and tried iui this time. IUI procedure conducted on 19th Nov and I took miprogen for the next 10 days, as prescribed. My last PMS date is 6th of last month. How long should I wait to take a pregnancy test or when to expect periods from the date of stop taking miprogen?

I have read your query and here is my advise.

* The miprogen is progesterone containing pill working on lining of uterus, helps to
establish and maintain pregnancy, regulate irregular cycles in many instances.

* One may predict menses after 5-7 days of last dose of miprogen in usual cases though
there can be individual variabilities.
Should be in a position to take pregnancy test if a week is passed above the expected
period date of this month.

* In stead of PMS date if LMP date is provided, I can count much better for your
reference.

Hello Doctor, thank you so much for your reply. The date I've mentioned in my question is LMP only (6th Nov), sorry that's not my PMS date.
I took miprogen until 1st Dec. So as per your reply, I should wait until this week to take pregnancy test, right
