Hi and welcome.
There are plenty of possible surgical procedures for bunions but inmodern times there are few which are most acceptable considering success and cosmesis.
The first one is Bunionplasty which is done in some specialized centers, and the second isso called Cinderella Procedure , type of hybrid osteotomy.
The third is Lapidus Bunionectomy. In every case, today, bunions can be treated pretty succesfuly and with acceptable cosmetic results. Most are done in private foot surgery practices, but some public hospitals offers above mentioned procedures as well.
