Question : Hello. I%E2%80%99m a 25 year old male, and I%E2%80%99m having a few concerns. Just to preface my questions/concerns: I have an appointment with a urologist this week. About 11-12 years ago, I had a right inguinal hernia repair. Everything went well, no problems. About two years after that repair, I noticed two lumps in my scrotum. I went with them for years before getting them checked out because they never caused me problems. This past July, a urologist examined me and told me they were epididymal cysts. I have one on the tube connected to my testicle (on the left side
Brief Answer:
There is nothing to be worried about .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query ,
Based on the facts that you have posted two lumps that you have noticed in your scrotum are what is called as Spermatocele (EPIDIDYMAL CYSTS).
These are benign ,harmless cyst and need no active treatment unless they increase in size suddenly or give rise to severe pain in Scrotum.
Monitor them at frequent interval and consult Urologist if above mentioned situation develops in future ..
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Hello. I don’t think all of my question uploaded properly. This was the rest of my question:
I’m a 25 year old male and am having some concerns. I have an appointment this week to see my urologist, but I’m driving myself crazy reading things online about what it could possibly be. Back in July of last year, I visited the Urologist would concerns of two lumps in my scrotum. My urologist diagnosed it as epididymal cysts. I have one cyst on my left side (on the tube that connects to testicle) and one cyst on the right side.. same situation. Theses cysts aren’t large enough to cause pain, and have remained the same size for over 10 years. I had a right inguinal hernia repair about 11-12 years ago before I discovered the cysts. In the past week, I’ve had some swelling in my scrotum on the left side. I don’t really have any major symptoms other than minor swelling (just on the left side).. maybe a little discomfort. Nothing major. I can feel my testicle and there are no lumps. Both testicles are the same size and feel normal. My cysts haven’t changed size, but for some reason the left side of my scrotum is swollen. When I feel around on the left side, it’s kind of “squishy”. Mostly under the testicle. When I look in the mirror I can tell my left side is swollen a bit but like I said, it’s not the testicle. It appears to be swollen on the left side of the testicle (in my scrotum) and squishy underneath. When my scrotum relaxes, the swelling is hard to see. I also have a “flutter” every now and then in that area as well. Underneath and slightly to the left is where it appears to be extra squishy. I’m not for sure what’s going on, but it’s been scaring me. I have an appointment this week with my urologist to get things checked out, but is there any idea of what this could be?

The sqisy feeling in left side could be aVaricocele however it can be confirmed only on clinical examination and Ultrasound scanning of Scrotum.
