Alcohol would not be recommended
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I'm Dr. Branch, thanks for using 'Ask a Doctor'.
While alcohol can be an effective pain reliever and probably would not cause any complications from a gallbladder stone, I would not recommend it, as it is not a good long-term option for pain control, as it can cause other problems with the stomach and liver, and could even complicate a pancreas problem if your gallstone were to block the duct coming from the pancreas. Typically biliary colic is worst within an hour, and goes completely away within 6 hours, so if your pain is still severe after several hours, or it has been more than 6 hours since it started, I would recommend going to the ER, as you may have an infection of your gallbladder. Otherwise, I would suggest seeing your doctor about getting surgery to remove the gallbladder, as these attacks are likely to continue, and can lead to further gallbladder problems (such as the infection I mentioned).
I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions about that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.

Medication could be an option
Detailed Answer:
Depending on what the gallbladder stone looks like, a medication to dissolve the stone could be attempted if you wanted to avoid surgery. But typically, surgery is the first line treatment, especially if you are having severe pain, as it sounds like you are.
Please let me know if you have any other questions, I'd be glad to help any way I can.
