Hello Doctor,
Thank You for taking the time to answer my question. I take Valsartan-hctz 80-12.5 mg daily for high blood pressure. I also take Atorvastatin 40mg for elevated Cholesterol. I take OTC Omperazole for heart burn. I’ve had the symptoms a couple of months. My last blood work was a year ago and that revealed the 2 problems above. As of now, no tests have been done. I’m unaware of any other medical issues. I haven’t been diagnosed with others.
Thank You!

Brief Answer:
Chronic pancreatitis/Fat malabsorption/Dyspepsia
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the information.
Floating stool/loose stool could be due to fat malabsorption.
This along with abdominal pain present for quite sometime could be due to chronic pancreatitis.
Stool analysis and a CT scan of the abdomen may be done for evaluation.
Sometimes the upper abdominal pain could be due to dyspepsia and an endoscopy may be done to look for gastritis/ulcer disease.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.
