Question : Hello, I’ve been having random chest pains off and on for the past few months. My PCP did an EKG in his office a few weeks ago and it did show a small irregularity, but he said it wasn’t much to be concerned about right now and most likely is due to my caffeine intake. I’ve cut back since then and still have random pains. This morning, I noticed a swelling under my left breast and it’s painful to the touch. Should I be concerned with this?

Hello
After going through the medical details provided by you I can understand your concern and I would like to tell you that before giving any medical opinion I would like you to upload your ECG report so that I can review it personally and then give any opinion.
As you are pointing the pain it seems like you are having some muscle soreness. However I would like to review your ecg image first. Also I would like to know if you have any other medical illness like diabetes or hypertension?
Any family history of heart disease ?
Any smoking habits?
Kindly revert back with required information.
Kind Regards

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I have no history of diabetes, nor hypertension or really anything significant other than sleep apnea which was just recently diagnosed. No family history of heart problems. I do not smoke and never have. The only medication I am currently taking is Flonase for my seasonal allergies. I attached pictures of my ecg/ekg that my PCP did. I hope they come through ok!

Hello again
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the information.
Your ECG is pretty normal except for some ectopics which can be safely ignored until they become more frequent or starts bothering you.
So as per the information provided by you it seems like your symptoms are likely to be muscle soreness and will go away in a couple of days. If it bothers you then you can take some basic analgesic like Paracetamol as and when required.
Nothing to worry and relax.
Kind Regards
