Question : Hello, I've been taking Theraflu today, and I've had three doses four hours apart as receommended. I would like to take NyQuil before bed instead of the Theraflu, and that would be three hours after the last Theraflu dose instead of four. Is this possible, or too dangerous?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice

I understand your concern.

Nyquil and Theraflu have almost the same ingredients.

They both have acetaminophen and an antihistamine.

Also, they both have a cough suppressant.

You can substitute them easily and safely.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
