                                            Question : Hello
I’ve had a swollen lymph node in my groin for around two weeks and recently two more have swollen nearby. I’m travelling for six weeks and just wondering if I should try to visit a dr overseas? I have no other symptoms

                                    Brief Answer:
Take an anti-inflammatory, watch for any further symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
Noted well.
Smaller than 1 cm lymph nodes are not much of clinical significance.
Minor/ trivial injury in the drainage area as noted above like private parts, perineal, perianal area and lower limbs also can cause enlargement.
Pain, tenderness, skin involvement, increase in size, fever should be watched for and if present then you need a Medical examination, investigations and an appropriate management.
Since there are not symptoms I think you can wait and watch.
You may please take OTC Ibuprofen or so whichever suits you as an anti-inflammatory, see the results.
Watch for any further symptoms.
Watch for any trivial wounds in the drainage area.
I hope this answers your query and helps you.
Please feel free to ask for any further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
