Hello. Last Night I Noticed Both My Hand Fingers Were

Question: Hello. Last night I noticed both my hand fingers were swelling. Wasn’t severe but I can feel them. I also could tell the top of my foot on both feet were slightly swelled as well. It lasted for about an hour. They finally returned to normal. I checked my BP. It was normal. I even checked my glucose it too was normal. I do have stage 2 kidney disease but it’s been stable since about 2005. Not sure what happened I was just sitting in my rocker recliner when I noticed it. I do believe it’s happened once several years ago though.

The most probable cause I can think about is:
Temporary nature of such an occurrence indicates towards allergy to something, hence got settled by the body.
Just observe the exposure to any allergen you know of or the foods and beverages, particularly with preservatives. For practical purpose anything under the sun including the sun can cause allergy.
Keep observing.
Since it has lasted for an hour and got settled means body has taken care of it.
