Question : Hello, My dad is taking PPG MET 0.3 for his diabetes. Can Vozuca 0.3 from Dr. Reddy's lab can be taken in its place. The composition looks same but the price difference is substantial. Is there any difference between the two in quality, etc?

Yes, I've checked both the attached pictures of these medications...

Salt and composition wise speaking, there is no marked difference between these two...However, PPG-Met 0.3 comes in a pack of 10tablets while the Vozuca M 0.3 comes in 60 tablets...Which is why probably you've seen the substantial difference in the price...

Although, please note, in between different brands, there is always some price differences but they're only marginal generally...However, ideally, speaking, if you're asking for a one time dose then it can be given...

But if considering longterm therapy, since he's already on PPG-Met 0.3, changing the brands entirely to another isn't advisable (due to drug adherence in the body, overall body's acceptance level, and several other factors)...
