Question : Hello
Recently had inguinal hernia repair-64yr old, heart disorder(HOCM), amiodarone and verapamil meds, pacemaker
Was on Levaquin IV drip prior to surgery-my daughter(RN) was concerned about interaction of antibiotic with IV solution and amiodarone.
Should I have been concerned?

I read your query and here is my advice.

I think you should have been concerned because levofloxacine interacts with amiodarone causing irregular heart rhythm, even lightheadness, dizziness and fainting.
You should have not taken them together.
Now if you have finished taking levofloxacine you should not be concerned anymore.
