Patient is not able to wake up without any help from others and unable to use upstairs. He is unable to take up his legs when lie down. But he is able to walk on the ground slowly. He is not getting strength to the legs. Consulted Drs but no improvement. I would like to know more about this decease and further treatment. Thanks

Unfortunately there si no cure for this disease.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting the muscle biopsy report. The report is confirmatory of Muscular dystrophy.

Muscular dystrophy is a genetic disease, and it continues to get worse over time. Unfortunately, there is no cure for muscular dystrophy.

However, we can expect improvement with good physiotherapy. There is no excellent medicines for this disease, however, deflazacort may provide benefit.
