Question : Hello,
This penis "pimple" or boil has been bothering me for almost 3 weeks now (picture attached). It started as a small pimple that was only hurt when touched, then it got bigger and itchy. Eventually it stopped hurting (only if i rub the area or something) and the skin peels quite a bit. I thought it would open and drain on its own or just dissapear since i've had similar pimples before and they usually pop. But this one has been this size for approximately 2 weeks now.
I am traveling so its hard for me to go see a doctor for a few weeks. So should i be worried or is there something i could do to make it heal? Thanks

Little more info. About 5 days ago it seemed like it would pop since it was more red and hurt a little bit more. I was able to drain it a little bit. But then it stopped. It looks like it is healing but the skin keeps peeling if i mess with it. And the bump is still there and has not changed.
Brief Answer:
You have infected Seabceous cyst over shaft of the penis .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query ,
Based on the facts and photographs that you ave uploaded you seem to have an Infected Sebaceous Cyst over shaft of the penis .
The genital skin is rich in sebaceous glands and hence prone to get more sebaceous cyst due to accumulation of sebum beneath the skin.Normally they fade away without treatment however they need to be treated if increase in size or get infected.
Take antibiotic like Bactrim DS along with anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily for a week .
Once the infection and redness gets reduced consult qualified General Surgeon for clinical assessment .You may need to get it excised in Totto along with sac .
This is a simple procedure done under local anesthesia as a out door procedure and offers permanent cure .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
