Question: Hello doctor, I think I am facing hearing loss problem. I am missing words while hearing. I am understanding conversations in other way other than important point. I think I am suffering from 6 years. Please suggest me what can I do further.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I will suggest that you get your ears examined by ENT specialist and also get Pure Tone Audiometry done. It is a simple test to asses what type of words you are missing and at what frequency.

It will help rule out ear problem. Sometimes the problem maybe in processing the audio signals.
