I read your query here is my advice.

There are different shampoos which can be used to treat dandruff. You can choose to use a shampoo which some XXXXXXX tea tree, zinc or selenium. They are found over the counter. You can also alternate two of them. You can find this shampoo in supermarkets.
If the dandruff is resistant you can use ketoconazole shampoo. Put the foam in head and let it for 5 min and rinse it. It may need several days to get better.
