Question : Hello doctor, how frequent we can give emeset 2mg for 3.5 years male child? I’ve given single dose(5ml) but still he is vomiting.

Hello,

I can understand your concern. If syp. Emeset constitution is 2mg/5ml, you can give 5 ml three times a day. As you have given first dose, you can repeat dose at least after 5 to 6 hrs in case of vomiting doesn't stop, otherwise no need.

Kindly watch for other symptoms like fever, abdominal pain,loose motion and maintain proper hydration. Avoid solid foods.
