Question: Hello doctor please read very very carefully my question because it is a little special. 2 days ago i was thinking and i imagined a needle entering in my brain. (it was just a thought) but my brain reacted to it like it was real. And a new thought just popped up in my brain saying what if my brain interracted with that thought (the previous thought i mean: the needle entrering in my brain) negativelly and this cause DNA damage and genes mutation, what if my brain was scared of that thought (the needle thought) and this fear destroyed and damaged some cells DNA and caused some genes mutation and this will lead finally to brain cancer?? Because when i imagined the needle entering in my brain i had a weird feeling like a pain or an extreme fear (physical sensation in my head and my brain i mean) i don't know how to explain it, but it was like a fear of destroying my cells and damage my DNA and cause mutations to genes and getting brain cancer in the future because of that even though it is a thought and it is real but my brain it's like it interracted with that like it was real (all thing: feelings - physical sensations) My question is doctor: when we think about something or imagine something like in my case (a needle entering to my brain) or imaging any thing else in the brain does the brain react to it and this thought (the content of the thought) cause DNA damages and genes mutations in a direct way and brain cancer??? Can the content of the thought cause DNA damage or genes mutations and this lead to brain cancer?? When i have a thought for few seconds and it scares me a lot and i get extreme fear with it and physical sensations related to that like pain in my brain (because of tge thought) can this cause DNA and genes damages and mutations in a direct way??? And lead to brain cancer?? When for example imagine my cells DNA and genes damaging and mutated: does the brain interract with this in a certain way to make it happen in real?? Does the brain make a thought real?? And finally at cells level do cells understand the content of the thought?? And interract with that in a way to cause DNA and genes damages and mutations in a direct way instantly?? Especially that the thought comes with an extreme fear and physical sensations, can this do a pressure on the cells in a certain way i don't know like raising the stress level suddenly in a way that cause DNA and genes damages and mutations and lead to brain cancer? Can this happen doctor?? Can someone get brain cancer just because of the content of a thought or imagination in a direct way and because this affects negatively the cells and cause DNA and genes damages and mutations? Can the brain and cells and DNa and genes understand the content of the thought in the physical level?? I am so sorry doctor to make this too long and please i want to know what happen at the physical level of the cells during this situation? And does this situation can cause me brain cancer?? Especially i have a thought that this may caused DNA and genes damages and mutations in my cells.
