Question : Hello doctor..Is there a chance for pregnancy while on daily oral dose of meprate?
And will ovulation occur while on daily dose of meprate without withdrawing?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Medroxyprogesterone when taken daily in small doses (mini-pill) without estrogen, can cause suppression of ovulation. There would be irregular periods, ovulation happens in 20% to 30% women but other mechanisms contribute to contraceptive action. As contraceptive is efficacy is lower (96 to 98%) than combined estrogen and progesterone combined pill (99%) and some chances of pregnancy are there.
