Question: Hello dr Sharka 50 year old women who has always had normal time low blood pressure just wondering if I should be concerned sunday I did a reading ans it was crazy high then I did one right after and it was normal and remained normal I showed my gp she said she wasn’t concerned because it probably was not put on correctly I check my blood pressure every morning and every night and this morning I took my blood pressure again ans the first reading was 120/103 but then I readjusted the cuff and took it a min after and it was 114/74 then again 4 min after and it was 111/72 should I be concerned as I am flying out today any suggestions

There is no way that very high blood pressure values ( the diastolic) may lower in a few seconds. So, I don’t think that they are real.
Besides, if these blood pressure values were real, you would feel a strong headache and dizziness.
So, there is no reason to worry about your flight and your blood pressure values.
