Question : Hello for the past 2 weeks I have an itchy bottom that only seems to be eased with Epsom salt baths, and natural yoghurt at night time. My bowel movements seem fine with no blood. I did have a fissure op about 25 years ago and it does not seem that I have a tear or anything external like piles that I can see. My tummy does seem a little more windy than normal though. I have also switched my washing powder back to my original incase that was the problem. I am 50 years old.

What you describe can be many things, e.g. hemorrhoids, fungal infection, etc. I suggest you see your general practitioner for an examination, as it is difficult to fully examine that area all by yourself.
