Question : Hello i am 4 month pregnant. I am taking jabzhar 2 teaspoon daily for constipation. Is it safe? I see the ingredients like mulethi..nisoth etc. Are they sage at all during this time?

It says mulethi harms baby's brain developmnt. And kabzhar contains mulethi (each 5 g contains 150 mg mulethi ans i take 2 teaspoon full everyday) Do you have any clue about this if this can cause any harm?

I have read the article you have mentioned. You are taking 300mg of mulethi daily. The adverse effects on brain development are seen only if it is taken in high doses of more than 250 grams per week. You are taking just 2 grams in a week. It is a small quantity and is not likely to affect the baby.
