Question : Hello, i have had an endoscopy, colonoscopy, blood tests, urine tests, heart ultrasound, head CT and Ultrasound Abdomen and all that showed up was a sliding hiatus hernia but i still feel unwell as i get pains in my sides, tiredness, shakiness and dizziness in my head. It is like this shaky feeling in my head and body. I don't know what is causing the shakiness in my body, pains, extreme tiredness and heat throughout me. I'm scared i will die :(. Do you think i might despite all the tests i have had? Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Severe gastritis not treated properly.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for choosing 'Ask a Doctor' service for your query,

Very likely your symptoms are a result of acid peptic disorder caused by the herniation.
Dizziness etc can all be caused by severe acid peptic disorder and gastritis.

You should start medications for controlling symptoms:
An acid inhibitor like Omeprazole should be taken twice daily.
An anxiety-relieving supplement like Lactium should be taken along with it.
Magaldrate oral suspension should be taken two tablespoons full before every large meal.

Avoid any spicy oily food.
No fast food or junk.
No alcohol or smoking (if at all do).
Drink a cup of ice cold milk in the morning.
Eat light and easily cooked food.
You would start feeling much better in 5 days.
All medicines mentioned are over the counter.
Follow up after 5 days
Thanks.
