I am sorry, the exact amount of my supplement with potassium aspartate is 300 mg three times daily. It has helped me alot with tight leg muscles that made it difficult for me to put on socks or cut my toenails. Now it is much easier. That is why I am asking about its interaction with Cozaar.

Brief Answer:
Cozaar should not be taken with potassium supplements due to interactions.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Cozaar is a medication which increases the level of potassium in the blood.
So, it is not recommended to be taken with a supplement that has potassium.
Taking them together can increase the level of potassium in the blood.
This condition has many side effects such as cardiac issues, muscular issues, kidney damage.
So, they should not be taken together.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards!

Thank you. When you say together, do you mean that they should not be taken the same day or just together? Does the amount of 900 mg together with Cozaar 25 mg make the difference?
