Question : Hello, since the change of contraception (yaz to Mirena) a month ago I’m having some night sweats! They don’t happen every time but sometimes... I don’t know if it can be anxiety or stress too... I did a blood test before my contraception! It was like 2 months ago and everything was okay in my blood test... should I worry ?

Hi,
Welcome to Ask a Doctor. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

Were your menstrual cycles regular before using Yaz?
Mirena does not cause night sweats. Wait for a month or so. If you still have night sweats, you need further investigations.
Due you have fever or any urinary complaints? If yes, it suggests infection and the night sweats could be because of that.
Best wishes.
