Brief Answer:
Elevate the lower limb above heart level, antihistamine
Detailed Answer:
Photos awaited.
Ice cold application was most welcome. Do not use hot water as it will increase local inflammation.
Take an antihistamine like Benedryl or Cetirizine orally.
Keep the foot/lower limb in elevated position in lying down position so that it is higher than the heart level. This helps to reduce the oedema by gravitational drain.
Take care.
