Brief Answer:
It is recommended to retest after 2-4 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have seen your lab result and you should know that you are positive for HSV 1 IgG, that means you are infected with HSV 1.

Your result is showing positive for HSV 2 IgG in the specific test as well. But till the moment this value has a little difference from equivocal value, it is needed to get another confirmation HSV 2 IgG test that in your case is negative.

This means that in the second confirmation test is not been able to detect HSV 2 antibody and is recommended to retest after 2-4 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query.
Feel free to ask me further.
