Brief Answer:
I would exclude any cardiac disorders.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome back to Ask a Doctor service!
I would like to know if the arm pain is related to arm and shoulder movements. Does it hurt when you massage it or put pressure on it?
If the answer to these questions is YES, I would conclude that it is just a musculo-skeletal pain. In such case acetaminophen would help.
Anyway, as long as you have no other symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain and your blood pressure values, ,heart rate and oxygen levels are normal, I would exclude any cardiac disorders.
So, there is no reason to panic and go to the ER, especially in this period of time, when contacts with the doctor should be minimal and just in case of emergency.
Please stay safe at home and try to relax!
Let me know about everything!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
I would exclude any cardiac disorders.

Brief Answer:
I would exclude any cardiac issues.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
In my opinion the pain could be tendinitis or costochondritis.
Certainly fibromyalgia can mimic all this clinical situation.
Anyway, I would exclude any cardiac issues. So, feel free to go on the treadmill.
Regarding the light weights, I would recommend avoiding them as long as your arm hurts, because they may trigger the pain from tendinitis.
Hope you will find this information helpful!
I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!
Wishing good health,
Dr. Iliri

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Your description of the pain goes in favour of fibro, but I would not exclude costochondritis too, as it can lead to sharp pain in this area.
Anyway, I would completely exclude any cardiac issues.
So try to relax and don't worry too much about it!
It is nothing serious and there is no need to go to the ER, especially in this period of time, when you can get an infection when mixing with other patients in the ER.
There is no need to perform any cardiac tests, as I am sure that they will result normal.
Feel free to exercise normally. Yoga would help against anxiety too.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
