Question: Hello....We went for a walk tonight alone....a young teenager rode past on a skateboard and smoking.....we waited then crossed the street and smelled the smoke....we are now concerned about Covid?

Thanks for your query.

Covid virus is not suspended in air/smoke. Only if somebody smokes directly to your face there can be a theoretical risk. The aerosols which carry virus fall away quickly and can't remain suspended in air.

So I think you are safe.

Thanks. I didn’t realize this was a duplicate. Another dr said if we weren’t wearing masks we should be concerned. I am now confused
