Question: Hey, I am having problems to groin skin. It became dark and skin is very sensitive. I tried applying candid power since a month but no result. please suggest what to do?

Possibility of a fungal infection or acanthosis must be ruled out.
Do you experience any itching over the area? Is there any associated sweating or moistness in the area? Can you see a thin white powdery appearance?

yes, previously i have been experiencing etching. Yes, sweating and powdery appearance is there.

Hi,
It can be a sequele to long term fungal infection or jock itch:
As of now you can apply over the counter available antifungal-steroid combination like clotrimazole-betamethasone(candid-B is a popular brand) after cleaning with soap and water. Always try to maintain the area dry. Avoid tight fitting inner wear.
It will take few weeks to get a clinical response.
