Question : Hey I’m a 19 year old male that had discovered a lump and bruising to the left of my right nipple. The lump is under the skin and feels like a marble. Sometimes I’ll get some pain by my shoulder blade. Any ideas what this might be?

A lump in this area is always concerning. It may or may not be concerning. And the only means to know it is through careful clinical examination.

We need to examine the lump to evaluate the size, shape, borders, mobility and consistency of the lump to have a fair understanding of the problem in hand. Further it may be necessary to perform an ultrasound examination or a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.
