Hey Doctor, Last Night I Slept A Friends House After

Question: Hey doctor,

Last night I slept a friends house after a music festival and we slept in the same double bed. Now last night at the festival she got bad blisters on her feet from her shoes, my concern is that could these have been contagious to me when we slept together? I was wearing long pants and socks in bed and didn’t have any cuts or anything I did take my socks off at some point before I woke up but they were on most of the time. Can you get any diseases or anything serious from this they were friction blisters under her skin from wearing socks that thick enough should I get any tests or anything done?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry about, you won’t contract any infection or disease

Detailed Answer:
Friction blisters are not contagious because they don’t have infectious etiology.
They are caused by sterile fluid collection due to friction.
You won’t contract any disease or infection by sleeping with a person with friction blisters.
There is nothing to worry about.
