Question: Hi
By taking naturogest, does my period bleeding stop? I am having bleeding since 3 weeks. I went to the doctor and he prescribed naturogest. Please suggest

Hi there,
I welcome you to HCM virtual clinic.

I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

Naturogest is Natural Micronized Progesterone. If you are suspecting pregnancy and associated bleeding then this is a good choice.
If not then I usually suggest to take 19 nor progesterone group of medication.

I would like to know about few things in detail.
Have you tried any other medications over last few days?
Have you done USG ( ultrasonography) ?
Has this kind of bleeding occurred in the past?

I will suggest you to start with the tablets containing Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic acid, thrice a day for 2 to 3 days.
