Question : Hi Doc, I had a risky incident, and am concerned. Got tested at 4 weeks with "HIV RNA" test, the "Antigen/Antibody" test at 5 weeks and 8 weeks. All were negative. Should I consider that conclusive and accurate? But I am still sooooo sick. Diarrhea (7 weeks), sore muscles/joints, head ache, lethargic, sore throat, down 7 pounds. Thanks, Nervous Nellie

I read your query and here is my advice.
I don't think this diarrhea is related to HIV infection.
HIV Rna test after 4 weeks and Antigen /Antibody test at 5 weeks and 8 weeks are highly reliable and you don't have to worry about having HIV infection.
The diarrhea you are having may be related to inflammatory bowel disease ( ulcerative colitis or chrohn) or even irritable bowel syndrome.
The fact that doctor has been giving you corticosteroids it means that you are having inflammatory bowel disease.

So, all those symptoms can be towards those diseases you listed? And, isn't it weird this would start literally overnight, just started one morning like a light switch? I have had problems with heartburn, I would use omeprazole now and then, or, used glass of baking soda water to dissipate.
