I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concern. Headaches are broadly of two types, primary and secondary. A secondary headache occurs when the primary ailment is something else, eg. a tumor. A MRI of the brain will help in ruling out such a cause. A primary headache is where the headache is the primary ailment, as in case of migraine or tension type headache. Your headache could be due to migraine but a careful correlation of the history is needed for the same. You definitely need to go for a checkup. Your doctor will be able to examine you and undertake tests as needed. He would also be able to write the medicines that are needed. There are medicines that can prevent migranous headaches from occurring and you might need one of those.
