Question : Hi Doctor,
I am having irritation in my throat and congestion in nose for approx. 8 days now. I had taken cetirizine for 6 days and then I am taking Allegra - M for 2 days now. The situation is almost same just that irritation in throat is little less but, nose is still blocked. Please suggest what shall I do?

Thanks for posting the query

I would suggest you to take a course of antibiotic, i treat my patients with a course of
Tab. Augmantin 625 for 5 days. This is available only on prescription.

Along with that you can take Tab. ebast DC 1 tablet 2 times a day.

Have steam inhalation 2 times a day.

It is usually given at a dosage of 1 tablet 2 times a day.
As mentioned earlier meet the local doctor and get it prescribed along with some antacid medicine, as this medicine may cause gastric irritation.
