Question : Hi Doctor, I experiencing pain in my chest for last few days, it's in the center of chest but slightly on right side. It's not constant pain but whenever I stretch my arms or change sides on while sleeping or resting on bed and also whenever I stretch my arms upwards in morning, there is cracking should from the chest and I can also feel moment in the chest at the same place where I feel pain.

I am not sure if its related or not, I am also having indigestion issues for almost same time.

I started doing yoga a week before I started feeling pain and I was doing XXXXXXX Namaskar and Chakrasan in particular.

Brief Answer:
Seems related to musculoskeletal system...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your pain description isn't specific to a particular illness. Indigestion issues do not present as occasional pain that is aggravated by movements. The sound that you hear is also not classical of indigestion. It is more likely related to musculoskeletal structures located in this area - breast bone and rib junction - costochondritis. You may have inflammed this area during the Yoga performance. However the diagnosis can be confirmed only through a detailed clinical examination.

I suggest you to avoid strenuous physical exercises, perhaps even yoga training / performance for a few days. If symptoms persists or worsen, it should be looked into by your local doctor.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
