Question: Hi Doctor, I have concerns about getting pregnant. I have a 7yrs old son. And now, I want to have another baby but I am bleeding and experiencing discomfort during sex. And 2 days ago, I felt a polyp on my vaginal opening.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
Bleeding after sex could be due to polyp,you have to remove polyp first.
You can take folic acid tablet once daily and try alternate days sex to conceive fast.
You have to take high protein diet and lots of vegetables and fruits.

Thanks for the response Doctor. I am wondering if the polyp will just fall off by time? I have 2 polyp when I checked myself but I am not sure if I have more inside. Do I have to do some tests to checked it out? I haven't went to the clinic yet. Will this polyp affect me to get pregnant soon? me and my husband are trying to conceive for more than 2yrs now. thank you

Sorry for the delay in my response.
Usually polyp fell out during menstrual cycle but it is not necessary.
As you are having more polyp,you should go for further evaluation and management because if it remain in the cavity it may cause more bleeding and may be difficult to get pregnant.
So it is better to remove polyp after checkup.
