Brief Answer:
Need evaluation....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The symptoms you described are not specific to a condition. There are multiple conditions that can cause the described symptoms. Sinus inflammation, viral infection, nutritional deficiency, fibromyalgia and so. We can be able to isolate the cause only through evaluation. I will suggest you visit a doctor and consider testing.
I would suggest complete blood count, ESR, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 and ENT check up at the first steps of testing, You can visit a doctor and plan for further tests.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Hi Dr. XXXXXXX

Thank you for writing back to me. And thank you for your suggestion. But I did a complete blood check up a few months ago and there did not seem to be any problem , yet I have severe body pains. Recently I started experiencing severe pain in my neck, which spread to my shoulder and currently my arms. Although I suspected a posture issue, but that seemed to be fine.

As I don't find time to visit Doctor over weekdays, can you please suggest something for pain relief in my neck/ shoulder region?

Thank you once again.

Brief Answer:
Pain medications...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As I mentioned in my earlier the describe set of pain complaints are not specific. Various conditions can be considered as possible causes. A physical examination is important to analyze physical signs which should be correlated to laboratory findings. Only then can we isolate the cause. Further more at times the cause is more somatic or related abnormal pain response - fibromyalgia.

The neck pain may or may not be related to all other pain. Cervical spondylosis / spondylitis can also explain the neck - shoulder - arm pain. X-ray of cervical spine with or without CT/MRI scan is entailed.

In simple terms, if you haven't consulted a doctor for physical examination you should find time some day and see a doctor.

In the meanwhile you can try common pain medications like tab acelofenac 100mg twice daily after food for 3-5 days. It should ease the pain and help you do your daily activities.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
