Question : Hi Doctor,
I have two questions
1. From last Thursday i had cold and little bit of soar throat so from Saturday i was taking cold act. on Monday i felt alot weakness so i had to take rest and took medication as follows 1. cold act, 2. half table of dolo 500 mg and half table to azitrhomince 500mg. I feel better after 2 days of rest but have a bit of weakness and mucus in my throat.
2. Meanwhile on sunday a monkey scratched my hand which was passing by my house. However, there are no wounds, no scratch marks or cuts no bleeding on my left hand,I washed my left hand with soap. I am attaching images for this. In october 2016 i had a dog scratch (no blood) so i took 3 shots of rabipur pcec injection along with tt. So my question is am i immune now or not.
2. do i need to take any extra shot or not.
3. For how many years does this vaccine work.

Hii. For sore throat you can take betadine gargle, anti allergic tablet levocetrizine. Take steam inhalation through nose. Please consult an Ent surgeon also. You can take nasoclear nose drop or fluticasone nasal spray. Continue the betadine gargle and warm saline gargle. Regarding monkey scratch please consult infectious disease doctor.
