Brief Answer:
Sleep hygiene should be improved.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for using ask a doctor service

If we consider sleep then 6 hours of sleep is not considered as less sleep. But if you are feeling tired and have fatigue, non refreshing sleep then this should be properly evaluated. A lot of individuals see improvement in sleep quality and time just by improving sleep hygiene. This consists of steps in order to improve the sleep.

- First thing is to fix time to go to bed. Any delay should be avoided.

- The room should be dark, cool and with less noise.

- Avoid anticipating that you will not get proper sleep. Just don't pressurise yourself to go to sleep.

- Use your bed for sleep only and not for reading, or checking social media or watching TV.

- Avoid taking coffee, tea, alcohol or even carbonated drinks in evening.

- Take light meals and this should not be very spicy.

- If you fail to get sleep for around 15 minutes of going to bed then this is the time to get out of bed and to distract yourself. Don't think that you will not get sleep. Just try to relax yourself.

- Follow these steps and you will see improvement.

These are natural methods that help in good sleep.

Thanks.
