Question : Hi Doctor,
My daughter is 26 months old. She has developed mouth ulcer under upper lip. We have Metrogyl DG gel available at home. Can it be applied to the child as well? Please suggest.

You can apply Metrogyl DG gel for oral Ulcer. It contains antiseptic agent.
It is safe for oral application. Give some multivitamin drop for better relief and maintain good hydration by giving plenty of fluids.
Most of the time oral Ulcer improves within three to four days. If it is getting worse please consult your pediatrician.
