Brief Answer:
Get done HRCT thorax and PFT.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Ask a doctor forum.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should definitely consult pulmonologist and get done
1. HRCT thorax
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
HRCT thorax is needed to rule out bronchiectesis because this is common after TB and cause recurrent respiratory tract infection.
PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis. Bronchitis is also common after TB.
PFT will not only diagnose bronchitis but it will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity.
Please let me know
1. Has she undergone PFT and HRCT thorax?
2. Which treatment is she taking? Is she taking any inhalation drugs?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your mother. Thanks.
