Question : Hi Doctor, My wife is in her 28th week. I am learning she has Meralgia Paresthetica in her left thigh, right above the knee. Some times its unbearable. She has all the below symptoms.
pain, burning, tingling, partial loss of sensation.
It is usually more as the day passes, its almost nothing in the morning times. She also has lot of uncomfort just below breasts, upper belly.
She doesnt have high BP (no preclampsia), her OGTT shows normal values and no signs of gestational diabetics.
Currently I am making sure, she walks atleast 40 mins and does stretches periodically. Drinks water regularly, trying to maintain balanced diet too.
Please advise me how can I make sure she is feeling relaxed from Meralgia Paresthetica, I want her to enjoy these final months and have more relaxed time.

                                    Thank you doctor,
This is really helpful. from yesterday, she is having this dry cough and this morning she has some flem associated with it. We usually take morning walks for 40 mins, but winter started. Today she is down with mild fever, throat pain associated with dry cough.
I asked her to take rest, serving chicken soup. Please advise me anything I can help her with to be active again.
