Question : Hi Dr.,
I am writing because I noticed for the past few days a small red spot on the back of shaft of my penis. It looks like maybe a dry patch or a small rash. There is some slight irritation, but not enough to be bothersome throughout the day. I would rule out an STD, as I have not had any unprotected sex with anyone other than my wife.
Would you recommend applying any over the counter ointment or lotion? If so, what would be the best choice? How long until I should seek medical care if it does not improve?
