Question : Hi Dr. My name is XXXXXXX 30 years. I am having small bumps on my scalp, forehead and ear region ( similar to acne but not exactly, it is like a mosquito bite). They are little reddish in Color. They are causing itching sensation. As of now I am advised to take Atarax 25mg. Please advice.

These seem to be pimples from dry skin. Kindly upload a photo so that I am better able to help.

Meanwhile I would suggest that you apply some coconut oil for dry skin.

Hi again

These seem to be mosquito bites. Use mosquito repellents regularly as many mosquito borne illnesses are going around. Or it could be an allergy.

Can apply some betnovate cream on them to minimize itching. Ataeax can also bring down itching but also could cause drowsiness.
