Question : Hi Dr.,
Since last night after eating dinner, I have noticed something small seems stuck in my throat. I only notice it occasionally, as it causes a bit of pain if I yawn or take a large swallow. I'm not sure what it could be, but my guess would be a very small piece of an herb stem that perhaps splintered to get stuck in there.
I have had a meal since then, which I thought might dislodge whatever is there, but it doesn't appear that has alleviated the symptom.
Do you have any recommendation to get rid of it? It is not too bothersome, but I also don't want it to stay there forever.

Hii. If you feel something is stuck in the throat like herb stem then the best approach should be to consult an Ent surgeon and get a endoscopy done to see the whole of the throat. If you can swallow water with solid food then it is unlikely that something is stuck in the throat. But the confirconfirmatory test to find any foriegn body is endoscopy performed by ent surgeon.
