Question : Hi, I accidentally closed out my question. I fell and injured my elbow/arm on Saturday. I had X-rays but they couldn't quite tell if it was broken. It is sore, which I am taking Advil for the pain, but super swollen still.
they wrapped it and gave me a sling, my question is how long do I keep it wrapped and in the sling at the same time? And how long am I supposed to keep it mobilized?

                                    Brief Answer:
Keep the sling till swelling decreases.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
You need to keep it wrapped and in a sling till the swelling subsides. The sling can be removed at night while resting. You can keep your fingers moving in the sling so as to maintain the blood circulation. Get a repeat X-ray done in 7-10 days when the swelling decreases for further diagnosis.
I hope this answers your query.
