Question : Hi, I am 31 years old. I have been having random sharp pains in my head (same spot everytime, top right). When they happen, it sometimes makes my eye have a pain. The pain lasts a few seconds. Recently (the past few days) I am having pressure to my head and sometimes pressure to to my ears, temples, and the upper part of the bridge of my nose. Another thing that I have had happen is randomly (only a few times) i will get light headed and it almost feels like a fuse blew in my head. It isn't painful but it does make me lightheaded for a minute and then it goes away.

Brief Answer:
Sinusitis and paroxysmal hemicrania to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, conditions to consider in your case, are:

1-sinusitis combined with episodes of ice pick headaches,

2- paroxysmal hemicrania ( a rare primary type of headache ).

I think that you should be evaluated by your primary care Doctor for your issues.

Imaging studies also may help in achieving a correct diagnosis.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
